The video handed out by the JNP allegedly shows JNP MP M. Muzzamil at a hotel in Wellawatte being given money to support Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka. Wimal Weerawansa and Muzzamil both claimed that this video shows the money being given at 1a.m. today morning.

JNP MP M. Muzzamil addressing a press conference a short while ago claimed that he was given Rs. 30 million by Myown Mustafa to crossover from the government and support Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka. However Muzzamil said that he could not be bought over and that he will not crossover.

According to Muzzamil this was a “mission” launched by the JNP to expose the money handed out by the Fonseka camp to get MPs to crossover.

At the press conference Muzzamil showed a large amount of money that alleged was the advance offered by Mustafa. Earlier Muzzamil was seen storming out of the Sarath Fonseka’s office claiming that he will expose a conspiracy.
